Want an easy, yet healthy cooking option for your students? Egg-Cellent choices right here with a two cooking lab product- omelets and “Chef’s Choice” eggs. Omelets is a cooking lab recipe to allow students add optional ingredients in a filling omelet. Chef’s Choice allows students the chance to make scrambled, hardboiled, fried, or poached. Both labs are simple and allow the student an opportunity to prepare a filling and easy to make option. Both food lab can be completed in under 49 minutes from start to finish after the food lab plan is complete, but recommended to complete on two separate cooking days. This product contains both digital and print options for the cooking lab in your FCS kitchen.

  • Day 1- Kitchen groups write the food plan for omelets
  • Day 2- Cooking day- Omelet
  • Day 3- Kitchen groups write food plan for Chef’s Choice
  • Day 4- Cooking day- Chef’s Choice
  • Day 5- Students individually complete the reflection
