Start your FCS apparel and textiles class off on the right foot with this FCS Apparel and Textiles Icebreaker. It’s the perfect and engaging way to get your students focused and have fun. If you have spent any time with junior high or high school students, you know the phrase, “It’s the ___ for me”. That’s exactly how this icebreaker works.

Place one card per seat. Play music and have students walk around until the music stops. When it does, they find a seat at the card that best suits them. Go around the classroom and have them tell their name and fill in the phrase with the picture on the card, “It’s the ___ for me”, so it could be “It’s the red dress for me”.
