The Financial Literacy Scavenger Hunt, vocab, and self-reflection is great way for students to learn financial literacy vocab through a question trail and code words! This activity allows students to move around the classroom while finding the vocab code word. A mystery word and a secret 4-digit code will leave your students eager to finish the task.

 

If you’re looking for a unique way to teach the financial literacy, then this is perfect for you. You can hang the cards on the wall, scatter them on the floor, place them on desks, hide them or pass them amongst students. How you choose to set it up in your classroom is up to you.

 

Students will revisit the definition multiple times as they rotate around the room seeking code word, which is a financial literacy term. To ensure understanding of the subject matter, students will answer questions that can be found directly in the reading passages. No prior knowledge is needed.
